Trust, reason and commonsense

Volunteer with Team Broadbent

Welcome

It is my great privilege to represent the people of Monash in the Parliament of Australia. Our local area is a great place to live, work and raise a family and I work to ensure it continues to be an even better place for us all.

In addition to serving our Monash community, I am a vocal advocate for a just and compassionate society with a focus on: a fair and sustainable NDIS, care and dignity for our elders and their carers, respect for women, flexibility and support for small businesses and the humane treatment of refugees.

Keeping in touch with your views and opinions helps me to represent you and I encourage your regular feedback. Please take the time to complete my survey and you can also subscribe to my mailing list to receive regular updates.

Warm regards,
Meet Russell

You've probably seen that I am recontesting the seat of Monash as an Independent in the upcoming federal election.

And as a genuine Independent, I won’t be accepting any financial donations to help with my campaign.

In saying this – I still need your help! If you can support my campaign, please make contact with my office by calling 5623 2064 or visiting russellbroadbent.com.au/volunteer-here/.

I hope you get back in, you were one of the few that stood up about the mandates.

Blessings from Newcastle. You are a real trooper!

Good luck Russell.

Participation in sport is booming in our region so I want to ensure that everyone benefits, including female players and officials.

Therefore, I am making it a priority to support the proposed upgrade for the Inverloch-Kongwak Football Netball Club, which would ensure female participants have the appropriate facilities to be able to play sport.

I met with club leaders to view the existing ageing facilities and the new concept drawings. The new building would include modern player facilities and an upstairs function room which would help fill the gap that the local community needs.
