Welcome

It is my great privilege to represent the people of Monash in the Parliament of Australia. Our local area is a great place to live, work and raise a family and I work to ensure it continues to be an even better place for us all.

In addition to serving our Monash community, I am a vocal advocate for a just and compassionate society with a focus on: a fair and sustainable NDIS, care and dignity for our elders and their carers, respect for women, flexibility and support for small businesses and the humane treatment of refugees.

Keeping in touch with your views and opinions helps me to represent you and I encourage your regular feedback. Please take the time to complete my survey and you can also subscribe to my mailing list to receive regular updates.

Warm regards,
Meet Russell

Well done Sebastian Battista! 👏 Lyon, Capital of my dear Rhône Alpes Auvergne region :)

Sebastian Battista, WorldSkills Australia

It was a pleasure to catch up with Katie-Ashby Koppens again yesterday to talk about the proposed Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Bill 2024 and all the work that the Aligned Council of Australia is doing to combat the Misinformation and Disinformation Bill.

Australia would be the first country in the world to impose a minimum age for social media, the government need to let parents be parents and not get involved.

So over the govt overreach, the indoctrination of our children, the nanny state interference!

Leave our kids alone!

All those who have voted for the MAD bill need to look at themselves and their forebears. How many of those family members fought and died in WW1 and WW2 so that we have freedom and freedom of speech?

Its one authoritarian move after another!

An absolute honour to meet Michael Shellenberger today.

The Australian Institute of Public Affairs brought Michael to Australia to raise the alarm about the unprecedented rise of “dangerous weapons of censorship” such as the mis and disinformation bills which are being rolled out right across the western world.

Great interview thank you to all 3 of you and Russell you are a true peoples advocate !!

Awesome! Keep this conversation open around the world.

Watch out if the bill fails federally they will tell the states to implement it anyway.

Babet has an Awakening 💥

It’s all the 5eye nations Commonwealth countries,Albo needs to read the Commonwealth constitution that’s the people’s constitution, not the Australian constitution it’s a nonsense and a fraud

The sooner Albanese and his horrid government are gone the better. I don’t trust Dutton and the Liberals any more, but at this stage I’d vote for Mr Ed and Wilbur, that’s how bad it is folks.

🧡🙏🏼🧡

This Misinformation Bill is such an embarrassment for all the soldiers of propaganda trying through a sneaky way to clear the path for more upcoming propaganda. Now, more people are awake about who is running this country drifting away. This is the real blessing in disguise. Now, we also have to stop the Digital ID madness and 16 years old social media restriction.

GREAT that looks like it is going to be defeated. However, the 16 yo internet ban will FORCE/COERCE All Australians to get a DIGITAL ID with FACE Recgnition (Chinese/Korean Style). That Bill using the FACADE OF "PROTECTING THE CHILDREN". While everyone is Distracted with the MAD Bill, Gov is passing by Stealth DIGITAL ID on All Australians. I do not recognise the Country I migrated to 30 years ago!

The DIGITAL ID & FACE RECOGNITION by Stealth (16 yo ban """protecting""" the children, white doves, rainbows and grandmother) is another Draconian Totalitarian Bill proposed by this HORRIBLE GOV!

Sleezy is so thinned skinned he does not and cannot handle criticism.

Watched Michael on Sky very articulate. Thank you.

Yes I really admire him.
