Welcome

It is my great privilege to represent the people of Monash in the Parliament of Australia. Our local area is a great place to live, work and raise a family and I work to ensure it continues to be an even better place for us all.

In addition to serving our Monash community, I am a vocal advocate for a just and compassionate society with a focus on: a fair and sustainable NDIS, care and dignity for our elders and their carers, respect for women, flexibility and support for small businesses and the humane treatment of refugees.

Keeping in touch with your views and opinions helps me to represent you and I encourage your regular feedback. Please take the time to complete my survey and you can also subscribe to my mailing list to receive regular updates.

Warm regards,
Meet Russell

Our pharmacists should be commended every day.

But on #ThankYourPharmacistDay we particularly encourage you to celebrate our local pharmacists, like those at Chemist Discount Centre in Warragul, by saying a big ‘thank you’!

Many practice right across the health system. From our community pharmacies, to hospitals, aged care facilities and general practices.

So, a big thank you to our pharmacists for your dedication and for stepping up to improve health outcomes for our communities!

Yesterday I, along with a collective of concerned Australians - including parliamentarians, science and medical professionals, legal experts, and researchers -wrote to the Editors of The Australian newspaper in response to James Dowling’s article 'Covid Deaths Endure Five Years On' published on March 11, 2025.

In relation to the assertions made in the article, we’re calling on The Australian to:
• Scrutinize the "28 million excess deaths" claim with full data transparency.
• Report on Yale’s findings linking long COVID to vaccination, alongside the broader peer-reviewed literature.
• Investigate safety concerns surrounding synthetic DNA contamination in Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
• Commission a full, independent review of Australia’s excess mortality crisis.

Australians were assured these vaccines were safe. Now, we have credible concerns that demand investigation. This is not about blame - it’s about accountability. Australians were told these vaccines were safe. Now, we have serious questions.

All the federal government parliamentarians shamed Craig Kelly when he spoke up against the vaccines. Shame on them all

I hope they take this letter seriously

Thankyou for all you are doing.

The Australian Human Rights Commission’s report ‘Collateral Damage: What the untold stories from the COVID-19 pandemic reveal about human rights in Australia’ is too little, too late.

Basic human rights may have been an afterthought for the government and the Human Rights Commission during the pandemic, but they weren’t for me.

I wrote to the Australian Human Rights Comission after I was injured by a mandated Pfizer vaccine (Nurse). They wrote back stating “whilst they had concerns” about the mandates that they had no power to intervene and advised me that liability sat with my employer for breaching my human rights. Long story short my employer said that they just copied Qld Health and it’s not their fault and that they didn’t want to help me. WorkCover Queensland actually edited my sick certificate to delete the words vaccine injury! When I complained to Healthscope as my employer, they told me it’s just policy and not “malicious” and not to take it personally… 👀 So far I have not found anyone willing to take accountability. Plenty of bullying and harassment to keep my mouth shut (which will never happen). Zero WHS efforts or organisational accountability; if vaccines were mandatory, treatment and compensation should be too.

Russell you are highly underrated and deserve way more attention by your constitutes and the wider public. You were a few standing tall when many were trying to silence people such as yourself.

It's way to late. They too need to be held to account..... for a minimum of just being quiet.
