2019 Community Heritage Grant program is now open

The 2019 Community Heritage Grants program is now open and seeking applications.

Federal Member, Russell Broadbent, encourages any applicable groups in his electorate to apply for the program, which offers grants up to $15,000 to assist historical organisations.

The grants are designed to assist not-for-profit organisations, historical societies, regional museums, archives, galleries, public libraries and Indigenous and migrant community groups.

The funding can be put towards a range of activities such as preservation activities and training, conservation activities such as cleaning and treatments, environmental control equipment, replication of material, management software and more.

Applications make note to carefully read the 2019 Community Heritage Grants program guidelines before submitting an application.

Applications will close 5pm, Monday 6 May 2019.
